Fandom has a history of giving. At Balticon, you will have opportunities to contribute to several causes.

BSFS Books for Kids

Balticon holds an auction during the Masquerade to raise money for the BSFS Books for Kids program. The funds will be used to purchase books for students to keep as their own. BSFS Books for Kids also collects book donations for local school libraries. Items for the auction are donated by individuals and companies and generally have a SF or fantasy theme. To donate items for the auction, contact BooksForKids@balitcon.org.

Baltimore Design High School

Balticon is collecting fabric to be used by students at the Baltimore Design High School…anything from 3 yards to whole bolts of material. Costumers, through your stash and bring your unneeded fabric to Balticon at the Information/Volunteer desk.
