Hotel
Balticon 54 will be held at The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, 202 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202, USA. Room Rate is $150.00 per night (taxes additional 17.5% ) for King Bed or Double Queens. (Double Queen Beds are in limited supply and go fast)
Online Reservation
During registration you will need to enter the names of people in the room (at least two people must be listed to get two queen beds) and your proposed check-in time. The registration system is very insistent you enter this information. Make sure the credit card you use does not expire before the check-in date. (If you want connecting rooms or to be on the party floor then see below)

Telephone Reservation
For phone reservations, please use the following dedicated Group Reservations phone number in order to make sure you are able to access our special room rates and ensure booking within the block.

Special Notes
At this time (07/17/2020) the online registration system is restricting rooms before Thursday, 05/21/2020 and after Monday, 05/26/2020. If you want those dates and can not get them, send email as below till we get resolved.
If you want connecting rooms or to be on the party floor or any other special accommodation, then enter that request during on-line registration into the text field for special requests or tell the operator to do so. Then, when you get your reservation number, send your name, registration number and the special request information to hotel@balticon.org and we will ask our contact at the hotel to assist in securing that request. If you want onto the party floor you must request to be on the party floor (The default to place you on a non-party floor.)
Let Dale Arnold know if you have problems making reservations or getting your requests by sending email to hotel@balticon.org (either before the con, during check-in or whenever you learn of the problem — because he can not fix it if you wait till after the con.)
The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel has an overhead walkway from the hotel to Harborplace, which has a plethora of good eateries. Unfortunately, the overhead walkway is not wheelchair-accessible, but ground level is wheelchair-accessible. There are food vendors ranging from sit-down restaurants to snack bars all around the hotel, so food choices abound. This hotel is at the recreational center of the Baltimore Inner Harbor Destination, so attractions, restaurants and great views are only steps away on every side of the hotel.
The hotel does not have a pool.
